Datasync: Tracking Pull and Push API Data Status

Effortlessly synchronize your data with Sense using the Push and Pull API tracker. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to monitor, manage, and optimize your API data synchronization.

Pull API

The Pull API allows you to synchronize and track event-related data seamlessly. Pull frequencies are automatically adjusted to match the event timeline for optimal performance.

To track your data status via Pull API, follow these instructions below:

Steps to Track Pull API Data

  1. Login to your Sense account.
  2. Navigate to Tools and select Datasync.
  3. Open the Pull API Section.

Pull Frequency

  • Pre-Event: Pulls occur every 6 hours.
  • During Event: Pulls occur every 15 minutes

Key Features to Monitor

  1. Status of the Pull
    • Displays the success or failure of the pull process.
  2. Last Successful
    • Indicates the latest time a pull process was successfully completed.
  3. Started By
    • Shows the user and timestamp of the initiated pull process.
  4. Groups
    • Identifies the groups whose data was successfully pulled.

Additional details:

  • Tracks data for both the database and agenda (if enabled).
  • Tabs are available to review Upcoming Syncs and Past Syncs.


Run One-Time Sync

  • Use the Run One-Time Sync button to initiate a full data pull outside of the scheduled frequency. This is especially useful when an immediate sync is required for updates or troubleshooting.

Download API Data

  • Use the Download API Data button to retrieve the pulled data easily.

Push API

The Push API enhances flexibility and transparency in data management by providing tools to monitor and control data sent to the system.

Key Features

  1. Download API Data Button
    • Retrieve pushed data efficiently with one click.
    • Click "Show Advanced Filters" before exporting and select any attribute you want to receive data from. 
    • - Click "Export" and you will receive an email with the latest data on Jublia. 
  2. Search Functionality
    • Use the search feature below the API Key section to find specific data.
    • Click Search and enter keywords in the search bar.
  3. Payload Button
    • Access and review the payload data for insights into the structure and content of your database.
