Email Courier: General

In this guide, we will walk you through configuring key settings for your event emails to communicate with your audience.

Concierge Manager

Step 1: Set Up Concierge Manager

Concierge Name / Concierge Email: These fields define the sender information displayed in your audience's inbox. If you've opted in Main Branding, you can set a custom sender name and email.

Ensure the correct name and email address are entered so that recipients can easily recognize the sender of your emails.

Step 2: Add DNS Records (only if you are using your own domain email address)

Once the email is set up, you will need to add the Brevo code, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records shown below to your domain's DNS settings in order to improve email deliverability when using a custom sender.

Note: If you have not activated Main Branding or are using @jublia.co email address as your sender, the DNS records have already been verified for you and you may disregard the next steps.

*Please note that DNS changes may take up to 48 hours to propagate and for the status to update to 'Verified'.

Step 3: Verify DNS and Sender Identity

Once the DNS records have been added, click on the “Verify DNS & Sender Identity” button to check that the records have been successfully added. If any of the status appears as “Not Verified”, wait up to 48 hours before verifying again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I locate my DNS settings?

If you own a website or domain, its DNS settings (A, MX, CNAME, etc.) are managed by your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare) or your hosting provider. You can access these settings by logging into your account on their website. Look for a section called "DNS Management," "Zone Editor," or "Domain Settings." This is where you would add or edit records to point your domain to a new web host, set up email, or verify services like Google or Microsoft.

What is the type of record that I am required to add?

All DNS records found on Email Courier on Sense are TXT type records.

What should I add under “Name” in my DNS settings?

Click on the Copy button located next to the value under the “Name” column on Email Courier and paste it into the “Name” field in your DNS settings.

I already have an existing SPF record for my domain. Can I still add the one that Jublia requires?

As each domain can only have one SPF record, you would need to combine our SPF include statement with your existing one into a single SPF record. For example, if you use Google Workspace and Jublia’s marketing email services (Postmark and Brevo), your record would look like this:

v=spf1 a mx include:spf.mtasv.net include:spf.brevo.com include:_spf.google.com ~all

Can I have more than one DKIM record?

Yes, a domain can have more than one DKIM record.

Can I have more than one DMARC record?

No, a domain can only have one DMARC record in its DNS. Having multiple DMARC records will cause the DMARC protocol to fail, as a receiving mail server won't know which policy to follow.

While not mandatory to add, emails from a DMARC-protected domain are more likely to be trusted and delivered to the inbox, improving your overall email deliverability.

How can I check on my DNS records?

You may use tools such as https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx or https://dmarcly.com/tools/.

Who should I reach out to if more technical help is needed?

If any technical issue persists after adding the records to your DNS settings, please contact your domain or hosting provider panel support for further assistance.
