Email Courier: Unified Campaign Activity

Effectively managing your email communication is essential to driving engagement before and during your event. The unified Campaign Activity helps you simplify your workflow by consolidating scheduling, logs, and engagement data into a single, centralized interface.

This article guides you through the core features and actions available within the Campaign Hub so you can track, filter, edit, and review campaigns efficiently.

Step 1: Accessing the Campaign Management Hub

You can access the Hub in two ways:

Option 1: From Sense Home

  1. Go to your Sense Home dashboard.
  2. In the Communications section, locate the Communication Journey card.
  3. Click the “See Journey” button to be redirected to the Campaign tab in Email Courier.

Option 2: From Tools Menu

  1. Navigate to the Tools menu.
  2. Select Email Courier.
  3. You will see a few tabs including General, Text, HTML and Campaign Activity.

Step 2: Viewing and Filtering Campaign Data

The Campaign Activity tab displays all email activity in a table format. Each row represents one campaign item and includes:

  • Campaigns
  • Author Status
  • Goals & Target
  • Open Rate

To easily find the data you need, use filters to refine your search results:

  • Goals Filter: You can analyze the campaign performance and make data-driven decisions by filtering emails based on company activity (All Goals, Interactions, Interactions > Opportunity, Opportunity > Realization, Realization, Unclassified).

  • Status Filter:

You can monitor email delivery and take action if needed by tracking whether emails are Sent, Scheduled, Sending, or Failed.

  • Groups Filter:  You can quickly find the email by the group you want to send.

  • Email Subject Filter:  You can quickly find emails through a subject search instead of manually browsing through the list.

Step 3: Managing Campaign Details

For Text Emails:

  • Click the Edit icon to update the email content.

  • Click Save to apply your changes.

For HTML Emails:

  • You can preview the content but cannot make edits.

  • To make changes, you must go to the HTML Stored Template to edit directly.

Open Rates:

For Sent, Sending, or Failed emails, you can view the open rate inside the campaign details page:

  • Format: 70.0% (7 open / 10 delivered)
  • If no data is available yet, it will display: “We’re currently working to get the data…”

Step 4: Campaign Goals

Goals are set by the system based on the Email type selected. They allow us to put the campaigns into perspective of the wider engagement lifecycle of the event.

• Interactions

Drive adoption of the event platform by focusing on initial user engagement.

• Interaction > Opportunity

Get attendees to take the next step after logging in by turning engagement into meaningful action.

• Opportunity > Realization

Help attendees prepare for the event by maximizing opportunities on their account.

• Realization

Guide attendees through the actual event experience and wrap it up with meaningful feedback.

Step 5: Deleting Campaign Items

To delete a scheduled or sent email:

  1. Click on the email entry.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. A confirmation prompt will appear:
    • Click Delete to confirm
    • Click Cancel to abort

Important: Deleted items are permanently removed and cannot be restored.

Best Practices

  • Regularly review your campaign list for clarity and performance.
  • Preview content before sending.
  • Avoid accidental deletions by carefully checking confirmation prompts.
